Story 1

Last summer, I went to Nha Trang beach with my family.  It was a bad journey.  I got up at about 4 AM, and then I had to wait one hour for the driver because he was late.  I was very angry, because I was so excited for my trip to begin.
Finally, we began at 5:15 AM.  Fortunately, it wasn't too late.  When we came near Dong Nai Province, a car suddenly appeared and hit our car.  Our wheel broke, and all of us were very afraid.  We saw that car drive into the other lane, and hit a few other cars.
All of us had forgotten to bring our wallets, so we didn't have enough money to fix the car.  After that, the police came to solve the traffic jam.

Story 2

When I had just finished my first year at university, I wanted to have an adventure, and I decided to go into the forest to explore.  I asked Uyen to come with me.  At that time, Uyen was also on summer vacation.  She agreed to join my trip.

We prepared a lot: food, water, tent, clothing...We intended to stay there for three days.  Unfortunately, on the second day, we got lost, and didn't know how to find our way back.  Sadly, we ran out of food.  We tried to find good food to eat.

Then, we met a lot of tigers.  We had to run away from them.  But suddenly, I fell down and hurt my knee very badly.

The tigers caught us.  One tiger bit my leg.  But suddenly, a hunter came and shot all of the tigers.  The hunter took us to the hospital.  Happily, we came back to our families.  And the hunter got a lot of tiger skins to sell.

Story 3

Ten years ago, I went to the mountain with my friend.  It was Mount Everest, the biggest mountain in the world.  My friends were Tom, Jane, and Steve.
Tom is 30 years old.   He looks like Tom Cruise.
Jane is 25 years old.  She looks like Madonna.  She is so sexy.
Steve is 32 years old.  He looks like the Hulk.

While we were climbing up the mountain, we had an accident.  A lot of snow fell down.  We waited for about 15 minutes, and then we decided to try again.  We couldn't see anything.  The snow had covered everything up.  We didn't know which way to go.
I tried to relax and find the way back.  Suddenly, a bear appeared.  I thought my life was over.  We wished someone could help us.
Suddenly, in the river, there were a lot of sharks.  Eventually, the sharks ate everybody.

And the Prince and the Princess lived happily ever after together forever.

Story 4

After I graduated from university, I wanted to try to discover a new place.  I decided to try living in the forest for a week.

I found a partner, and read about forests in a guide book.  Then, we took an airplane to the Amazon forest.

It was a very old forest, and it had a lot of amazing places.  I wanted to see an anaconda (the world's biggest snake).  I went to the river, and saw a big fish.  I saw an anaconda fighting with a tiger.  It was so amazing.  While they were fighting, the tiger ran near my position.  I felt afraid.  I tried to relax and not move anywhere.  Finally, I was safe.  The tiger and the anaconda had gone.

Story 5

Tommy had finished school, but before he started a new job, he wanted to try living on an island for a few days.  He had often read about island stories.  But he had never been to an island.

He asked Helen to come with him.  At the time, Helen was working in medicine at the hospital, and she was planning to become a doctor next year.  She had wanted to be a doctor ever since she was 8.  Eventually, Tommy and Justin said good bye to their friends and took a train down to the island.

The island was very quiet, deserted, and beautiful.  Suddenly, Rose and Jack appeared.  Now, they had 4 people on this trip.  The first day, they rented a boat and went fishing.  It was an interesting day.  

There was a small forest on the island.  They wanted to explore it, so they planned to go to the forest on the next day.  

On the next day, they started early and kept exploring until the end of the day.  They had a good experience.  After the trip, they came back home.  They really enjoyed this trip.

Story 6

On our holiday last winter, we --Tinh and Thoa--decided to go to the mountain in Sapa.  We took to hours to get to the summit.  Tinh was a careful woman, so she took care of me on the trip.  On the road, it  was snowy.  I was very excited because I rarely get to see snow in Vietnam.  I played outside for some time, and after that I felt cold and distressed.  We came down, and realized that we had a big problem.  It was snowing heavily, and we didn't know what to do.
We waited 2 hours, and decided to discover the beautiful scenery.  Then I felt better.  The street was very wet.  Thoa slipped and hurt her legs.  We had to go to the hospital for a check up.  Fortunately, Thoa had some pain.

Story 7

Last summer, I had an adventure on an island.  I went there with my friends.  On the first day, I stayed at a 5 star hotel.  I enjoyed my meal.  In the morning, I went to the beach with my friends and we decided to hire a boat.  We drove the boat, and then went fishing.  We were so excited.  We got a lot of fish.  While we were fishing, a storm suddenly appeared.  The wind was so strong.  Our boat capsized.
Suddenly, we disappeared from the boat.  When we appeared again, we were on a trip to the Moon.  We met Armstrong.  We were talking while Armstrong worked on the aircraft.  He asked an alien to come with us.  The alien was planning to go to Earth.  By the next month, we were already dead on the moon.
Suddenly, I was woken up by someone, and I opened my eyes, and I knew I was staying in a hospital.  I asked the Doctor what happened to me, and he told me that I was still alive.  I felt very happy and lucky.

Story 8

A few years ago, I was working for a foreign company after I had finished school.  In the middle of Autumn, my company had a trip to Vung Tau beach.  We were very excited.  When we got there, some of the people rented a boat and started sailing in the sea.  The weather was very comfortable--not too hot, not too cold.  When the boat had gone about 500 meters, a big wave suddenly appeared and made our boat capsize.
Unfortunately, one of the guys couldn't swim.  We yelled, "Help!  Help!"
Then, the boat turned over again, this time right side up.  We began fishing, swimming, and enjoying ourselves.  We had a very happy feeling on the trip.
